A hidden treasure a stone's throw from the Royal Courts of Justice

You can be assured of a warm welcome at the Cheshire Cheese, a Grade II listed pub of great character located close to both the Royal Courts of Justice and Inner and Middle Temple, two of London’s ancient Inns of Court.

It is also conveniently located to both busy Fleet Street and the nearby King’s College, while the River Thames is just minutes away.

There’s been a pub here since at least the late 18th Century, although the current building dates from 1926 and is of the interwar school of design. It was designed by the revered pub architect Nowell Parr Senior.

Available are a wide range of cask ales and lagers, in addition to an extensive wine list.
