Venue info
A predominantly young, no-frills crowd holes up at The Cornershop a likeably scruffy sort of place done out in 20 shades of brown, with ancient pot plants & screens showing live sport. The dress code is nu-Edwardian farmhand meets old-skool trainers a sought-after, but pretty rare combination by all accounts. Organised chaos rules in this busy & raucous venue, & you can expect to queue three deep for your chosen libation: £6.50 buys a pair of mojitos, & you can claim four beers for a tenner when early-bird deals apply. Peroni, Staropramen, Gaymers & Guinness slake thirsts, as does vin de pays at around £13. Nourishment is aimed at those who cant be bothered to ping the microwave: pies, burgers, sandwiches, salads & pizzas.
